I am Nicola Woods, a mindfulness-based UKCP Accredited Psychotherapist, EMDR Therapist and EMDR-Informed Coach. My work specialises in guiding high-achieving women to move away from living life in survival mode by helping them reconnect to their true essence and authenticity. I work with clients globally online and in person from Mallorca.
I work in a mindful, embodied and relational way, drawing on my core training in mindfulness-based core process psychotherapy, psychodynamic therapy, parts work and EMDR therapy. I will meet you where you are with kindness, compassion, and non-judgement – I appreciate it takes courage to start on this journey.
In our work together, we will pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, behaviours, and body sensations without judgement. Bringing present moment awareness to your nervous system, the coping mechanisms, beliefs and relational patterns that are keeping you stuck thus preventing you from living life fully and authentically.
By working in the present moment, we can facilitate the process of moving beyond your conditioned sense of self towards your authentic self. In addition to developing the tools that support you and your nervous system in feeling safe to be authentically you.

I support clients dealing with a range of challenges:
• Burnout, chronic stress, anxiety, imposter syndrome and living in survival mode
• Trauma, childhood developmental and relational trauma, emotional neglect and abuse, sexual abuse and assault, PTSD, CPTSD
• Working with a strong inner critic, tendency to be a people pleaser and perfectionist
• Holding negative beliefs such as “I am not good enough”, “I am unworthy”, “I am unsafe” therefore feeling stuck in life, overthinking and not able to move forward
• Life transitions, loss, bereavement and grief
• Peri-menopause and menopause
I tailor my approach to the needs of my clients therefore I offer different ways of working together such as weekly therapy and/or EMDR intensive Programmes.
In addition to an EMDR-informed Coaching Programme, LIVING and LEADING AUTHENTICALLY a 12-session Coaching Programme that is focussed on GROWTH and EXPANSION.
EMDR Intensive Programmes offer an accelerated, and effective approach to processing past traumatic experiences, burnout, and relational patterns rooted in our earlier life events. By working in a concentrated and structured way over a short period of time clients have the potential to reach goals more quickly. Intensive programmes are ideal for busy individuals, professionals and executives who have demanding schedules who prefer to take 2-3 days at a time to dedicate to trauma recovery and overall wellbeing.
EMDR Intensive Programmes are suitable for:
• Clients who have the ability to self-regulate and utilise grounding skills
• Clients who have enough stability in both their current living and work environment to undertake focussed trauma therapy
• Clients who have a reliable support network
• Clients who might be in weekly therapy but need to focus on specific trauma therapy
EMDR Intensive Programmes typically run over 2–3 days. Prior to the 2-3 days, we begin with pre-assessment and preparation — usually two 90-minute sessions — before moving into focused sessions across the intensive days. Programmes are followed by a 60-minute integration session to support you in bringing the work into daily life. Most programmes involve approximately 6–12 sessions in total depending on what we're working with — this is something we assess together as we go.

A 12-session coaching programme over 3–6 months, tailored to your needs. This programme is for high achieving women ready to fully reconnect with their true essence and authenticity — not just as individuals, but as leaders: in their careers, personal relationships, communities and the way they move through life.
Living and Leading Authentically maybe suitable for:
• New and emerging leaders who have taken on a new leadership role and want to establish their own authentic leadership style
• Clients who are feeling stuck in achieving their personal and professional goals
• Clients who still experience imposter syndrome and perfectionism, leading to stress and burnout
• Clients who may have experienced a recent professional set back or experience and find themselves asking: What next? What is it that I want? What is important to me in my career and life and what legacy do I want to have?
• Clients who have had therapy previously, have an awareness of their relational patterns and beliefs, and possess the ability to self-regulate and utilise grounding skills
By connecting deeply with your values, purpose and authentic self, you will cultivate the inner confidence, self-compassion and acceptance to live and lead with clarity, integrity, and to speak your truth - unlocking your full potential. The focus is on growth and expansion: living and leading in a way that is rooted in who you are rather than who you learned to be.
“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are” – Brene Brown
As part of Living and Leading Authentically, EMDR for Performance may be included to support you to fully step into your confidence in achieving your future goals. This is a forward-focused approach of EMDR, distinct from trauma processing, and is used specifically to support performance, leadership presence, and goals.
The programme is delivered across 12 sessions (90 minutes each) over 3–6 months. Between sessions, you'll have access to a 15mins check-in call between each session for support and accountability throughout the programme. This is a coaching relationship, not a therapeutic one — the focus is on growth, expansion, and integration between sessions, rather than clinical processing.
This coaching programme is growth and goal-focused, and if at any point it becomes clear that a different kind of support would serve you better such as an EMDR Intensive Programme, we'll talk about that together — your wellbeing always comes first.
£4,200 / €4,500 (£350/€375 per session), including 12 x 90 minutes sessions, bespoke resources, tools, exercises and support between sessions.
• Payable in two instalments – the first upon programme commencement, the second after the initial 6 sessions.
• A 5% discount is available for full payment upon commencement.

I'm Irish, having lived in London for most of my adult life. I'm now based in Mallorca, working with female clients globally, both online and in person.
Before training as a psychotherapist and EMDR therapist, I spent over 20 years in the corporate world — in HR, Organisational Development, and Leadership Coaching, supporting leaders across multiple industries.
Through my own personal experience, I understand the pressure of corporate environments — and the impact of masking imposter syndrome, anxiety and burnout in stressful environments has on your emotional and physical wellbeing.
My own therapy and coaching work helped me recognise how disconnected I'd become from my own authenticity, and guided me back home to myself.
I have been working as a therapist now for 10 years and, I am passionate about supporting women in moving from living their life in survival mode to thriving as their authentic selves.
